Mrs. Cushing, the PE teacher, is looking for some help with her indoor tennis unit come April. Parents can just come in for their child's 25 min. PE class or come for the grade level time. Students need help getting fundamentals down. Students would benefit from having extra people to help toss balls to them so they can practice their skill. Please let her know if you are available at all to help out. Please email Mrs. Cushing at tcushing@ccsd66.org. Thank you!

The Twenty-eighth Week at School:

Students will have a divide by 10 timed test on Tuesday, March 8th.  They will have two and a half minutes to complete 26 problems.   Students who pass on Tuesday, March 1st will receive the full amount of points (13/13).  If students don't pass the test on the first day, they will take the test the next day and receive 12/13 if they pass.  Students will continue taking the test each day until they pass and one point will be taken off each day.

ELA: To culminate our ELA and Social Science Units on Storytelling: Culture and Traditions, the students will take part in an independent study project that incorporates not only our textual learning, but also their technology and presentation skills. Each student will be asked to select a country that they have family ancestry or a personal connection. Please help your child with this.
