Prairieview and Lakeview will be competing again Eisenhower and Lace to see who can raise the most money for cancer.  The last day for the Cancer Smasher Challenge has been extended until Monday, March 4th.

ISAT testing will begin on Tuesday, March 5th. Here is some advice from Principal Schultz.
Parents can play an important role in getting students ready for these tests. Here are suggestions on how parents can help their children prepare for the ISATs:

1. Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep before the tests
2. Make sure your child eats a healthy breakfast the days of the test
3. Let your child know that he or she should take the test seriously and do his or her best
4. Talk to your child about what to do while taking the test, including:
a. Paying attention to directions
b. Asking questions about directions if they are unclear
c. Reading each question carefully
d. Eliminating wrong answers right away, concentrating on remaining choices
e. Double checking answers

Third grade has decided to hold the tests over a two-week period to avoid fatigue and restlessness.  The testing dates are during the first and second weeks of March:
Tues. 3/5, Wed. 3/6, Thurs. 3/7, ; and on Tues. 3/12, Wed. 3/13, Thurs. 3/14 from 8:00 - 10:00.

If anyone would like to donate juice boxes or water bottles over next two weeks of ISAT testing, I would really appreciate it!
