Miss Pellin’s Post!
August 25th – August 29th

Welcome to 3rd grade at Prairieview Elementary School! I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and is ready for a fun and exciting school year. I am looking forward to a great year!

Each week you can find out what is happening in the classroom by viewing my blog. This year we will have a homeroom that will stay together for Social Studies and Science. Students will be switching classes for Math. They will also switch for Reading, Writing, and Spelling. Some students may have three separate teachers, while others two, and a few will have me for all three sets of subjects. In order to find out what is happening in each of your child’s classes you will have to look in each of their teacher’s blogs. This is easy to do from the Prairieview website (http://www.ccsd66.org/Prairieview_home.htm). Next click on 3RD GRADE. From here you can look at any 3rd grade teacher’s blog by clicking on their name.

We won’t be switching classrooms for the first week.

I look forward to meeting you at the District Open House on Monday, August 25th from 9-11 am and again on the 3rd Grade Curriculum Night on Monday, September 8th at 7 pm.
