Week of April 29 to May 3

Week of 4/29/19 - 5/3/1

Anderson John Burland
April 20, 2019

We have had an exciting week! Our class was thrilled
to come to school on Monday morning to hear the
good news that Anderson John had arrived. We have
photos on the board and we continue to keep up to
date with Mrs. Burland and Anderson.

It was my pleasure to meet our third grade families
at Open House. Your children were proud to show
off their hard work. It's spectacular to see the
quality of the projects Mrs. Burland accomplished
throughout the year. Talk with your child about the
exhibits we have in our classroom. They know a lot
of facts about the solar system, the Great Chicago
Fire, tourist attractions in Chicago, and how to
measure the perimeter of your yard for a fence and
how to calculate the area of your family room for
carpeting. You have extraordinary children, who are
eager to learn. I appreciate your support to keep
their minds growing.

It was Spirit Week at Prairieview. What fun! We
wore pajamas, dazzling colors, crazy hats & socks,
and team jerseys. Our children raised money for
the Leukemia/Lymphoma Foundation, while raising
school spirit. Thank you very much for your generous
donations!
