Miss Pellin's Post
September 11th - September 15th

Happy Friday! I would like to remind you to check your child's assignment notebook every night and sign it. This a great form of communication and students can earn pennies.

Below are pictures of the students squeezing toothpaste onto a plate. The students then tried to put the toothpaste back into the tube. The toothpaste represented words we say to one another. We talked about how we cannot take back the words we say, just like the students could not put all of the toothpaste back into the tube. We discussed how it is important to choose our words wisely and make sure they are kind. We completed this activity on August 29th, but I often refer to it throughout the year.
